With this piece I’ve tried to capture that magical, slightly cinematic feeling you get walking through Canterbury at night – cathedral spires rising in the distance, old shopfronts glowing with warm light and the rain turning the cobbled street into a mirror.
Deep blues, golds and reflections give it loads of drama, but it still feels cosy and inviting rather than dark. It’s a brilliant one for above a sofa, in a snug or by a reading chair if you want your space to feel like a moody evening wander through historic streets.

Printed on thick 344 gsm, 17.5 mil canvas, the colours stay rich and crisp, so those inky blues and fiery window lights keep their depth for years. You can choose a poplar hardwood floater frame in black, white or oak – each one 1 cm wide on the front and 4 cm deep at the side, so the artwork appears to “float” in the frame, much like the cathedral rising above the rooftops.
